Juliana has been working with prosthetics, casualty and weathering make up since the end of her professional training at renowned CBMA Make up Academy for Film and TV in 2012. Back then assisting prosthetics designers with live casting, sculpting flat pieces, moulding, application and colouring. Juliana has worked at KM Effects prosthetics workshop as workshop assistant assisting in various stages of the prosthetics making process and specialised in silicone running, making silicone moulds, silicone prosthetics and probondo pieces. During this period Juliana gained invaluable experience and understanding of prosthetics make up from sculpting to application and mantainance for up to 11 hours on a film set. Juliana's prosthetics portfolio includes application of prosthetics creating effects like creatures, characters and gore. In the age of digital technology impeccable prosthetics application and balanced casualty and weathering make up are crucial for the achievement of a realistic and believable result.
